PRURide Seeker’s Society is more than just a criterium. We are here to bring together a community of both amateurs and pro-amateurs, to come together to challenge their own limits, push forward, and break through the cycle.

What is the PRURide Seeker’s Society?Our vision extends beyond the race itself—we aim to create meaningful opportunities for cyclists through exclusive Classes. These classes will offer distinctive experiences and expert guidance, empowering cyclists to enhance their skills and passion. As part of our on-going promise to provide a holistic experience and empower individuals to live their best lives. Prudential wants to partner individuals and families in their health and wellness journey. With our sponsorship of the Tour de France Prudential Singapore Criterium, we would like to encourage more people to embrace cycling as a way of life to keep fit and healthy. Cycling is also a fun activity that bonds people of all ages together as they live a healthier lifestyle.

What are the classes available?The following classes are available for participants: Technical Class by SCF (For Novice Race Participants Only) Mobility and Strength for Cyclist by UFIT Virtual Cycling Class by SCF

How do I register for the classes?You may register for the classes by clicking the link here

How do I know if my registration for the classes was completed?You will receive a confirmation email within 2 hours upon registration. In the scenario that you do not receive the confirmation email, please write in to prudential@miceneurol.com for assistance

Am I insured for the classes?To be insured for the events you participate in, you may opt in for complimentary Prudential insurance cover during the registration for the event.

Which category should I go for?If you are a cyclist with little or no prior racing experience and do not have an UCI License, you are advised to register for PRURide Seeker’s Mixed Novice Criterium. You will need to complete at least one (1) class and be the fastest 140 participants at the Novice Qualifying Race to be eligible to race on the event weekend. If you are a cyclist with prior racing experience and have a UCI License, you are advised to register for PRURide Seeker’s Mixed Open Criterium. Participation in the class will be optional.

Why do I need to attend the Pre-race classes to qualify for PRURide Seeker’s Mixed Novice Criterium?The short distance and tight turns of the course require cyclists to possess excellent bike handling skills and agility. The course is also physically challenging to participants with little race experience. Through the pre-race programmes, we aim to help participants prepare for their races with the help of experienced coaches in the field. Whether it is your first-time racing in a criterium format, or not, you will be able to learn skills and techniques to help you become a better rider.

What is the format of the Technical Class by SCF?Each class will be a 4-hour session consisting of a theory lesson and practical session with bicycles.

What do I need to bring for the Technical Class by SCF?Bicycle (Only road bikes are allowed. ‘Aero’ wheels, ‘disk’ wheels and ‘aero’ extension bars are not allowed.) Helmet Appropriate cycling footwear Water bottle.

I will be attending the Technical Class by SCF, will there be bike parking facilities at the Technical Class venue?Dedicated bike parking facilities will be available on a first-come-first serve basis. You are advised to bring along your own lock for storage.

What do I need to bring for the Virtual Cycling Class by SCF?Comfortable workout attire Cleats* Water bottle *Only LOOK Cleats, Shimano SPD Cleats and Shimano SPDSL (YELLOW only) are compatible with the studio’s Wattbikes. Alternatively, you may opt for a pedal cage (applicable for sports shoes) or bring your own pedals for the Virtual Cycling Class.

Do I need a Zwift account to participate in the Virtual Cycling Class by SCF?Zwift accounts are not required as they will be provided at the venue. However, you may also choose to log into your account at least 24 hours before your session to track your progress.

How do I use my own Zwift account for the Virtual Cycling Class by SCF?An email will be sent to you three days before your session with the link to join the class. Participants have to opt in for the session with their account at least 24 hours before the class.

What do I need to bring for the Mobility and Strength for Cyclist by UFIT?Comfortable work-out attire and footwear Water bottle.

Can I participate in the Novice Qualifying Race without attending the Classes?Attendance for Classes is mandatory. Riders who are unable to attend the Classes will not be able to participate in the Novice Qualifying Race.

Format of Novice Qualifying RaceParticipants of the Novice Qualifying Race will ride for three (3) laps around the track. Qualify as the fastest 140 participants in the Novice Qualifying Race to be eligible to participate in the PRURide Seeker’s Mixed Novice Criterium.

Will there be bag deposit services at the Classes venue?Yes, there will be bag deposit services at the venue. However, we do suggest limiting the valuables you may bring along for the classes.

Is parking available at the classes’ venue?Parking is available at the classes’ venue. Refer to the following for For Technical Class by SCF, the nearest parking is available at Decathlon Singapore Lab (Kallang). For Virtual Cycling Class by SCF, the nearest parking is available at Singapore Management University (SMU) or National Museum of Singapore. For Mobility and Strength for Cyclist by UFIT class, limited parking is available at Cross Street Exchange or Far East Square. For Novice Qualifying Race, parking is available at Jurong West ActiveSG Stadium.

What is the Tour de France Prudential Singapore Criterium?PRURide Seeker’s Criterium is the only race category open to novice and seasoned cyclists and takes place during Tour de France Prudential Singapore Criterium 2024. Set on the same circuit that professional Tour de France athletes will race on, the PRURide Seeker’s Criterium is a high-speed, fast-paced race that showcases the speed, skill, and endurance of cyclists.

How much is it to join the PRURide Seeker’s Criterium and PRURide Race-Ready Program events?With Prudential's support towards the growth of cycling as a sport and its comunity, participation to PRURide Seeker's Criterium and its PRURide Seeker's Society events is complimentary.

What bicycles are allowed at PRURide Seeker’s Criterium?Only road bikes are allowed. ‘Aero’ wheels, ‘disk’ wheels and ‘aero’ extension bars are not allowed. The full equipment list will be reflected in the race technical guide.
